One barking dog. One sleepless night. And one wife who finally snapped.
For hours, the neighbor’s dog had been barking nonstop, turning what should have been a peaceful night into a miserable battle against sleep. Her husband lay beside her, exhausted and helpless, while she grew more and more furious with every bark.
Finally, she threw off the blankets.
“That’s it. I’ve had enough!” she declared.
Without another word, she stormed out of bed and headed downstairs, clearly determined to put an end to the noise once and for all.
Her husband stayed in bed, wondering what on earth she was planning.
A while later, she returned and quietly climbed back under the covers.
But there was just one problem…
The dog was STILL barking.
Her husband stared at her in disbelief.
“The dog is still barking!” he said. “What have you been doing all this time?”
She smiled proudly, as if she had just solved the problem once and for all.
“I put the dog in our backyard,” she replied.
Her husband blinked.
“You WHAT?”
She pulled the blanket up, completely satisfied with herself.
“Let’s see how THEY like listening to all that barking!”
And just like that, she went to sleep—leaving her husband to wonder whether revenge had officially become louder than the original problem.
